Ceri the Crafter

Ceri is recognised for his clean and methodical approach to art, his much loved personality and his natural teaching ability both on YouTube and off.

ARTIST

Ceri admits that his imagination can sometimes be a curse as his mind never turns off but that he would never change it as its a gift that has opened many doors.

Be it paint, clay, paper, or cake Ceri sees design everywhere, one of his passions being photography enables him to capture inspiration wherever he sees it.

In 2010 Ceri started working on television demonstrating products and skills for shopping TV channels, over time the scope of topics he demonstrated expanded to mixed media, arts and crafts.

Ceri has now taken a break from TV work to focus more on his YouTube channel where he has the total freedom to create, delighting many with his easy going nature and his hints and tips.

@CeriGriffiths is a very popular Youtube channel where Ceri shares aspects of his life and his journey within the creative community, sharing skills and promoting many other artists along the way.

Award Winner

Throughout his various careers Ceri has won many accolades starting during his collage days winning awards for his cake designs then onto his show business days with many a standing ovation.

The crafting world has seen Ceri win product design awards and a literary award in New York for his publication Border Inspirations 1&2.

Ceri is the recipient of the Oklahoma State Sugar Art Show Medal of Honour for his contributions and support of the show.

In 2021 Ceri was inducted into the International Cake Exploration Society Hall of Fame in America for his outstanding contributions to the confectionery arts.

Looking to the future

Ceri has a passion for sharing knowledge and skills with others and takes great pride in the successes of his students and subscribers.

Due to the 2020 pandemic Ceri has focused a lot of attention on his Youtube channel offering free tutorials and videos for his subscribers to enjoy, the channel focuses on many aspects of his life from art to craft, from face to face chats with much more content planned for the future.
